I’m Dr. Laurie Alpert, a Naturopathic Doctor and Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) one of a small number of clinicians in Canada who holds this designation. The MSCP is the only internationally recognized certification in menopause medicine. It means this isn’t a partial focus. It’s the work I do every single day.

who is this for?

I work with people in their 30s, 40s, and 50s who are navigating perimenopause and want a real partner in their care — someone who will look at the full picture, not just the symptom that brought them in. My Toronto patients tend to be educated hardworking professionals who've done their homework. Expertise matters. So does being genuinely heard.

I work with people who have a regular cycle and people who don't — whether because of an IUD, hormonal birth control, ablation, hysterectomy, or you are already post menopause. Perimenopause doesn't require a cycle to track. It requires a practitioner who knows what to look for regardless.​​

Your first two visits are up to 75 minutes. That's not incidental — it's the minimum time it takes to understand what's actually going on and build a plan worth following.
